I love Alina's new album.  She did such a wonderful job and is a credit to her field.  Alina puts on a great show and we love to watch her sing.

First of all I want you to know that I am just a tad biased when it comes to Alina.  I have been a friend to her PopPop for many years and he always told me about his granddaughter who could sing, yodel, and play the guitar.  Well, I have grandkids of my own and I know how Granddads are so I didn't think much of it when he told me about Alina.  Well, one night we went out to eat with PopPop and his family and all the kids were sitting at one table and I noticed one little girl who was just a doll.  I asked who she was and he told me that was Alina and called her over to meet me and my wife.  And it was all over from that moment.  We fell in love with her on the spot because she is such a loving person it just bubbles out of her like the rays of sunshine on a warm spring day.  She has a personality that makes you feel that you have known her a lifetime.  Then a few days later we got to hear her sing.  And I fell in love with her voice.  She gave us one of her first CDs and last year she gave us her new one and I could not believe how much her voice had matured in such a short period of time.  This kid has a voice you have to experience live to get the full effect.  So do yourself a favor and made a date to experience Alina every chance you get.  We love her like she is blood and know she has a very bright future ahead.  God bless you kid - and thank you for being what you are to us.

Alina is a very talented young lady.  She is very sweet and performs and sings so well.  She is already a Star with me, but she really has the talent to be a Big Star.  We are behind her 100 percent.

Not only does Alina Tatum capture your attention the moment you set eyes on her, but when the first note comes out of her mouth, you KNOW she is something special.. She sings wit such passion and love for the music, it makes you feel as if she has been through every story each song tells.  The smoothness with which she glides over each note pulls you into the song, longing for more of her beautiful voice.  My favorite cut is Don't Worry - I could listen to her sing this over and over.  Alina has made excellent choices for this album - they fit her personality and vocal ability very well.

I first heard of Alina as "That Tatum Girl" - a country singer that took first place numerous times in Northeast Texas and all around.  No one had said how she looked.  No one said anything about her stage presence.  No one really said how great a singer she was.  Just that she was winning every contest she entered.  Then I got a look at her on her site and her still pictures seemed to come alive with a pure country singer - a look that says country from her soul.  Then I got a copy and thought I'll listen to a couple of the best songs - as I was running behind that day.  I stood there and listened to the whole CD as tears came to my eyes.  Then I called all my friends and told them.  A singer that can cause emotion in another person has done their job well.  Her family is loved by the whole area as The Carter Family of Nashville.
