The Casey Hubble Band is an underground Americana sensation with the versatility to move a group of crazy college kids onto the dance floor, set the mood for a dinner crowd, or entertain any audience in between. For years, Casey Hubble, the frontman, has been detailing the stories of his crazy life with the skillfully crafted songs that he writes. Many fans would describe Casey's music as "kind-of country". That description might be partially accurate, but anyone who knows about Casey's band will tell you that they are anything but traditional country. Over the years, Casey's brother, Joey Hubble, has witnessed the evolution of Casey's songwriting and has expanded his bass playing abilities into the genres of country, reggae, rock, rap and jazz. In 2009, Daniel Hinojosa, the drummer, stumbled upon Casey's music and immediately wanted in. He was looking to keep the beat for someone who puts lyrics at the forefront while keeping the overall sound fresh and relatable. Casey Hubble was that guy. Casey's latest release, RAMBLIN' ANNIE'S DEVIOUS SOAPBOX (Fence Post Records), is his third full-band release "...and is the product of the finest friends the Texas Hill Country has to offer." Hubble produced and co-engineered this album in three different studios (Hidden Creek Studio, Little Art Ranch, and The Zone). Casey says, "In an effort to capture the fullest tones, we did overdub a considerable amount on the first nine tracks but we left the 'heartbeat' (drums/bass) nearly untouched from the live takes. Just to prove that we are able to record without overdubs, we included two live takes at the end of the record ("Gospel Songs", and "Vesper Toll" [hidden track]). The radio singles from the record are "Ramblin' Girl", and "Read Between The Lines"." Buy the music now and become the newest Casey Hubble fan! You can thank us later.
