Welcome to MyTexasMusic Clip Help!
|We will attempt to give you some information that might help you hear the clips.
If you are using a high-speed internet connection, the clip should play as soon as the PLAY page loads. If it doesn't, you may have Real Audio defined as your default audio player. This may prevent the clip from playing, since it's looking for the Windows Media Player as the default plug-in.
If you are using dialup, it will take about 30 seconds for the clip to fully load. The load process should start as soon as the PLAY page loads. If it doesn't, you may have to press the 'Play' button on the page to get it to start loading. In either case, once the clip starts loading, you may want to press the 'Stop' button until the clip has fully loaded, then press 'Play.' Otherwise, you may hear three seconds of sound, followed by silence, then another three seconds of sound until the entire clip plays once. At that point, the file will be stored in your Temporary Internet Files, and should play immediately each time you press 'Play.'
We hope this helps. We searched for the most common way of delivering sound clips so that the fewest listeners would experience problems. We test our pages using a dial-up connection so we can experience the same time frame as our viewers. We don't want you to sit and wait too long to hear the music.
If all these efforts don't allow you to hear the music, we apologize. We are musicians and marketing people instead of computer geniuses. If you find more information that is helpful, email us and we will post it here.
