This album is the best!  Codie has the perfect voice, she could sing anything from country to pop.  She has that kind of voice, folks!  She has the sound of Tanya Tucker, Trisha Yearwood Gretchen Wilson, and Wynonna all wrapped up in one voice.  Compared to country singers today, she could even be the next Gretechen Wilson if the right person grabbed her up.  From me listening to this CD, someone will most definitely sign her up for a record label.  So, we will be hearing more of Codie Brown.

I have heard Codie sing since she was a baby - this CD is very good but does not show all that she is capable of.  Just wanted to invite anybody in the Gladewater area to stop by and see her (and me) Thursday - Saturday from 9p to 2a at Texas Two-Step in Gladewater, TX and we also have some other very talented singers too.  Come visit with us.  So we'll see ya there!  Mama

I have already listened to the full version song and I absolutely fell in love with She Took It Like A Woman.  If this song had been introduced by someone well known like Reba, Faith Hill, or Martina McBride, it would have been a hit.  Codie does as much justice to this song (and others on her CD) as easily as any one of them could.  I hope more people listen to this CD and enjoy it as much as I have.
