Courtney Reed: Lead Vocals – “When I was a young girl, standing on a stage with a microphone in my hand has always been a life long dream. Having a deep seated love for music and what it does, has done, and will continue to do, is something that, in my heart I have always wanted to share with other people. I have grown up with music in every part of my world, and now I get to share some of it with you. Today when I think of those that have influenced me in my musical endeavors I can’t help but think about Wynonna and Naomi Judd, Patsy Cline, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Ray, Etta James, Janis Joplin, and Willie Nelson. As my voice has grown, so have my influences, including Mindy Smith, Patty Griffin, Susan Tedeschi, and many others... “
Allan Reed - Songwriter/Guitarist – “Someone brilliant once said, ‘Music is what feelings sound like.’ As a self proclaimed disciple of the 6 string I have been honored to let my feelings flow through the guitar as well as through my songwriting for over 30 years. I am happy to stand in the shadow of music and respect it as one of the greatest proponents of love on this planet. When I think of the thousands of musicians who have channeled every imaginable emotion throughout time I am humbled that I play a part in making the most joyful noise known to mankind. My Goal is to always write something that makes a difference. That might be a song that makes you laugh or one that makes you cry. A song that brings back a remembrance of something wonderful or words that empower you to make the change you could never make. I am having the time of my life at this point writing songs for my daughter and backing her on guitar. My feelings today are a mix of love, gratitude, and hope for a more understanding world. I look forward to sharing them with you in a song.”
Cameron Reed - Percussionist – “Ever since I was in the 1st grade, I can remember driving the teachers crazy by tapping beats with my pencil. Driving my parents crazy, grandparents, and maybe siblings as well. I moved on to playing a full set of drums from 6th grade until I was about 22 years old, and finally got turned on to the box drum "cajon". Now I can beat on the drum with the beautiful music and everyone seems to love it and realize why I beat that pencil all those years.”
