Crosswind “The Core” ©2006 Crosswind Music Review by Jinelle Boyd It’s not often that I feel compelled to write a review, but this group just has that effect on you. After listening to this project, I just FELT better. From the first guitar lick, accented by Denise Squier’s gorgeous velvet voice, to the last note, I was hooked. And I hate to say “you know they sound just like…”, but really, if Olivia Newton-John fronted Jefferson Starship…well, you get the idea. The entire band just BELONGS together – you can hear it in every song…I can only imagine that they truly enjoy each other’s company, resulting in this incredible project. Do yourself a favor and pick up this CD...you’ll be the newest Crosswind fan. I know I am!
