Dodd Michael Lede's new CD is "WHATEVER HAPPENED TO YOU" and it is a great one. Alternative rock tunes with deep-rooted Texas influences are the signature of this disc. Lede's voice is confident and suited to this lyric-based, slightly off-genre project. This is an expert production from Mike BBQ at Space City Sounds. Dodd Michael Lede's writing is insightful and well-groomed for the times. Several cuts are radio-friendly and deserve spinning. There's not a bad cut on the project, and while Lede's sound is distinctive and present in every track, his compositions are diverse and his delivery is never stale or forced. This is a well-orchestrated disc, and features some great musicians, including our good friend, Christopher David on acoustic guitar. Also appearing are Mike Hruzek, Robert Perez, John Pruiett, Grandon Westlund, Andy Zuniga, Jeanette Franco, Carl Tuggle, Mike BBQ, Eric Burns, Rus Gib, and Brad Martin.
