I think that this CD shows a lot of promise. There are plenty of melodic hooks, great guitars, and excellent lyrics. Isn't that what makes a great song? These songs are really good. Why isn't this guy on the radio with all the others? |

This guy never ceases to amaze me. In his early years of playing with various bands, he always had a unique quality about his presentation. Now solo, after several bands with which to play dress rehearsal, he has surpassed all of his previous efforts. His voice defiantly stands out amongst all the Scott Stapp and Chad Kroeger wannabe's. Although he'll be the first to admit he's not that great a singer. What sets him apart from other artitsts of his genre is his creative passion for lyrics. Of course opinion can only carry so much weight, as long as songwriters like Dodd exist, the future of pop music will continue to shine with rays of hope. The creme always rises to the top. |

I can't stop listening to this CD! It is awesome. This guy writes some of the best tunes around and they stick around in your head so you can't forget them easily. It's mighty refreshing to hear something new for a change. His music and lyrics are about all sorts of things that happen in life...things you can really relate to. I sure hope he gets the recognition he deserves. |
