Gary Kyle with The No Standards Band by his side, enjoys performing nightly in honky tonks and dance halls throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and other states. His band includes long time accomplice and high school buddy Frank Huezo on Lead Guitar/Vocals, former bassist of Sixpence None the Richer, Joel Bailey (whom he actually met via MySpace), and finally Grammy Award-winner Luis Rodriguez on drums. Gary was born in Kingwood, Texas. Anyone who watches Gary Kyle perform hears the heart and soul of a man whose family's tragedies give him the courage to live his life to the fullest, to seek and find his dreams. Gary's Dad, Bert, a country/bluegrass singer and his older brother both died young. Gary was only one year old when this Dad passed away, and 13 when his big brother Greg, died of Leukemia. Both tragedies shook Gary into the realization that life is too short and too precious to be taken for granted. He then made a vow to follow with his heart and cherish each moment to the fullest. This passion for life later became the basis of the title track of his debut CD, aptly entitled, "Livin'".
