Hi, I love the music, the words, the ambience of it all,
it sounds more like orchestra, because the words blend in so well with the
music, it's all one!! I usually do not like Country or Texas Rebel
music, but my friend, Donnie, the guitar maker, raved about her and got me
interested. It is funny how things work through other people,
because, Joey is definitely writing MY LIFE, and through the words I feel
WOW, someone else is just like me. Anyway, my favorites are:
Changes, The Clown, If I Were An Angel, also I like MY life...

Joey D is the freshest talent I have seen in Texas in
quite a while, not only is she a DYNAMIC performer, she has a vocal range
that can go from a Karen Carpenter low sultry tone to a Janice Joplin or
Melissa Ethridge rockin' rage in a split second. But wait - that's
not all! She is a superb songwriter with over 70 originals.
She has a stage presence that is unequaled and a look that will make every
woman in the room jealous and every man in the room fall all over
themselves trying to talk to her. The song, "The Clown" is
a very unusual sounding ballad that will evoke emotion in your heart and
you will be humming the tune for the rest of the day. The song
"Lemme Be" (not on this CD but can be seen in video on www.joeydsongs.com)
is a tough girl song that really rocks (must see video.) Joey has
been writing songs for 20+ years and has decided to make her mark on
