Not one to do much shopping online but I had to check out the information I got when I won a demo CD from Katherine Dawn. I won a CD when visiting family in San Antonio. We ate at a cafe' where she was singing. I have to say that I haven't heard a blues/country/soul singer like her EVER! I love the 3 songs on the demo. My favorite is Susie Sunshine on this. I'm looking forward to the whole CD. Thanks, KD. Originality is all over this Texas Woman! |

I've heard cuts off of the soon to be released "Sugar Bowl". It blasts like a firecracker! Great back-up band with a fresh sound. I'm excited about hearing the whole CD. |

If you haven't seen Katherine perform LIVE you are missing out! The CD is great, but seeing her live will blow your socks off!!! Katherine and her top flight band are professionals in every aspect. She has very unique style that I would classify as true TEXAS BLUES. Her fire and guitar action leaves you wanting more. Her strong lyrical magic accompanied with phenomenal scoring sets her apart from most artists. You must take in one of her shows as soon as possible. Katherine is truly a musician to watch and she's climbing on the fast track to success. |

| I've seen Katherine Dawn perform live recently...her stage presence is so fun to watch. She does it all with such class. Top shelf entertainment plus an excellent CD. | ||||

| Highly recommended to any music lover's collection. Katherine Dawn's tremendous talent shines throughout this CD. If I had to pick best track, it's tough. "Try Again" to me is a great piece of work. Katherine Dawn's "Live" performances are definitely a must. Refreshing to see a true artist dare to do a cover, ("Ode to Billie Joe") her own. Now that's talent girls and boys!! | ||||
