I think this is the best CD ever because not only is my Uncle the drummer, but I think they play great music and play good for the audience.

Kyle Hutton's CD "Small Price To Pay" starts off kickin' with the first song "Can't Stop Fallin'" that makes you want to get up and dance - and just sing right along with it.  It's a fun and snappy song and while it's the shortest song on the album, it's full of energy and starts the album off just right.  Along with "Can't Stop Fallin'", is the foot stompin' "Run Like Hell Is Knockin'" and the country gospel song "Hometown Revival" that will make you want to shout and clap along.
Several lovely songs are included on the album as well.  The poignant and touching title song, along with "What He Sees", "Fill 'Er Up" and "Until We Meet Again" are written with a genuine sensitivity that you don't often find without the trite cliches and manipulative manueverings heard in other music.  Rather, both the words and the music are rich and beautiful and also happen to serve as evidence of Kyle Hutton's personal faith and beliefs without any sort of overstatement.  His songs are honest and speak from his heart.
Once you listen to the bold and dramatic "Ridin' The Texas Wind", "Wild Oats", and "Cold Hard Cash", you'll know you've got a great album in hand that you'll want to play over and over again.
What makes this album great is the quality of music performed.  The talent and skill of the musicians are highly evident from the timing, rhythm and orchestration of the various instruments played, to the harmony of the vocals, to the unexpected joy of hearing a well-placed guitar riff that simply sings.
The trouble with this CD is that you'll need to carry it with you from home to car to office because you'll want to enjoy it everywhere you go.  Either that, or get a couple of copies like I did so you won't be stuck without one.  It's that good!

Album full of inspirational songs.  "One Nation Under God" is really hitting home.  "This Ol' House" ranks #1 as far as I am concerned.
