Lloyd's storytelling ability in rhyme is simply amazing! His stories are remarkable and from the heart. |

Very outstanding. This CD is very moving. All the sounds and words of the great West as it once was. I'm very pleased to own this and will continue to buy whatever Lloyd Shelby puts out for us who are all cowboy at heart. Thanks, Shelby, for giving us something to close our eyes to and remember the old west. |

This is a really great book and the author Lloyd Shelby must have put a lot of thought into it. I personally liked it, yet I don't think it's for everyone. Editor's Note: We are told this review is from a fifth grade admirer! |

I really liked it. It has some creative ideas. My favorite poem is Old Blue. It was about a dog that guy bought cause his kids bought the others. But he never really wanted it, he thought it was worthless cause it was the runt of the litter. He grew to love it. It became his partner for many years. Then Old Blue started to slow down and one morning the old man couldn't find Old Blue so he started to look for him, but he was nowhere in sight. Then later on he found him in the barn and he figured it was his time to go. So the man gave him a blanket to make him a little more comfortable in his last few hours. This book is one of the most touching books of Cowboy poetry I have ever read. It truly touches people of all walks of life. I have bought several for gifts and the reaction is all the same, where can we buy more. Thanks for a great job by a great artist. |

I was recently given this CD by my sister as a gift. I thought well, I will listen to it just to be able to tell her honestly that I listened to it. Boy was I surprised when I did. This is fantastic, and I keep it either in my truck or the CD player in the house all the time. I hope to get another one soon so I can have one for each place. Do you know if he has produced another CD? If so, I hope to get a copy. Thanks for a great job of promoting the true Cowboy. |
