Viva Texas Swing! Lynn Logan’s 2004 release “BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS” is a seven-cut treasure of country music and western swing with a true Texas flair. Logan’s voice is perfect for traditional country music and the album’s orchestration compliments her vocal style wonderfully. An impressive list of songwriters contributed to the album including Benny McArthur and long-time Houston favorite Mundo Earwood. McArthur also produces this dazzling project, capturing a neo-traditional sound and giving Logan an excellent springboard for her musical career. An excellent album, and hopefully it’s just the first in a long line of releases from this talented Texan.
