Kerr arranges in an innovative way, using bass, percussion, keys, and horns to deliver his lineup of well-written blues-rock tunes. Eight of the nine cuts are originals and the lone cover is a funk-laden rendition of "The Thrill Is Gone." The title cut is the most sultry, rivaling "Thick Side" for the album's best cut. Kerr reminds you he can chicken-pick on "Country Side Blues," a toe-tapping instrumental. "Elevator Love" is a must-listen for all Steely Dan fans.
