I remember the first time I sat down with Matt. I had my guitar and he with his, and we just started jamming out in the martini bar. Then he played Way Past Waco, I was blown away. A few beers down, and a few REK songs jammed, he then played I'd Rather Drink Alone. I was hooked. There's not a day on the river I don't have his CD with me. He's got what it takes, and I hope he makes it all the way, and never forgets the jam's back home. |

Matt's music is so unique. His best songs are "Way Past Waco" and "I'd Rather Drink Alone". He is not only a great musician, but a great songwriter too! |

This guy is REALLY good! He should win the best male vocalist. |
