The team of Kelly Williams-Mann and Thomas Mann comprise this cleverly-named dynamic duo. Each of the dozen cuts of their 2006 release is penned by either or the pair and aptly produced by Thomas Mann and Ben Blank, who engineered the project. Kelly handles the vocal lead and guitar, while Thomas tickles the keys and a little guitar himself. Kelly's voice is fitting for her style, safely surrounding her Texas roots delivery with a deep blues influence. The writing is solid and the arrangements compliment each cut. Strong, powerful, and true to the core, the Melody Mann sound is undeniably Texan as they lean from sultry to roadhouse with the greatest of ease. Sure to become a Texas music mainstay, this group is ready to rock - Melody Mann style.
