From the dust of Lubbock, Texas, rises Mike Siler. Four albums later, Siler is a force in Texas music. Reigning from the Nashville area, Siler is "king of smooth" with his velvet voice and pure country delivery. Each additional disc is an island as Siler sings songs made popular by his heroes and delivers cuts he penned with writing partner Jerry Harkins. Siler also offers co-writes with other greats such as fellow MTM members Mike Blakely and John Arthur Martinez. No stranger to the Hill Country, Mike Siler can be found performing in Texas on a regular basis. "RIDIN' FOR LOVE" is mostly original music, while "DREAMS OF A DREAMER" and "MAN OF CLAY" have more covers like "Four In The Morning" and "Ridin' My Thumb To Mexico", songs which Siler delivers flawlessly. Siler's co-write with Blakely (Texas Music Award winner for best vocal group) and Larry Nye (Texas Music Award nominee for best producer) is "It's About To Get Western". The closest thing to a hit yet for Siler, this song epitomizes the vast talent of this Texas-born troubadour.
