These CD projects were produced by the Northwest Arkansas Parrothead Club and distributed among many other Parrothead organizations, including the Northeast Texas Parrothead Club, of which Jinelle & Lucky Boyd (founders of MyTexasMusic.com) are members. The Parrotheads have consigned these great compilation CDs with MTM – you will notice several of our members lent use of one of their songs to these great projects, which raise money for various charities. NETPHC is using proceeds from the sale of Tropical Soup to benefit the Galveston (TX) Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, the Shreveport (LA) Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, and the Children’s Hospital of Little Rock (AR), and sales from Angels In Tropical Shirts will go to Gilda's Club (www.gildasclubtx.org).
