The Gospel Project, born in South Austin from a cross-culture, cross-music mixture, Thursday night Gospel Jam, is transformed into an original first class gospel group with traditional roots. Playing our music, sharing our LOVE...we are all living in the Austin, Texas area. Most of our members play in other bands (Jessica Shepherd is a long-time MTM member, as well as Eric Leikam who is part of MTM member Steelbeam's band), but enjoy our "Hippie Church" time together. We play on most 2nd Sundays of the month at Maria's Taco Xpress in downtown South Austin.
