Keith Rodgers and Dick LeMasters perform both acoustic and full band versions of their original songs, which reflect their love for blues, Texas country, Americana, and classic and modern rock music.
Keith spent many years playing with the Southeast Texas band "Rock Alley" before moving to Austin, where he played guitar and keyboards with several bands during the '90's. Rodgers is a fan of (and has a voice like) Tom Petty. His originals reflect the influence of Petty, as well as that of other more "modern" bands such as Creed, Fuel, and Stone Sour. Keith's songs are rock-oriented, with strong vocal hooks and meaningful, memorable lyrics.
LeMasters recorded an album in Austin in the late '80s, and played throughout the '90s in the original rock/blues band "Cold Shot" and the classic rock cover band "Bad Faith". His songs range from Stevie Ray Vaughan/ Jimi Hendrix style blues/rock to Joe Ely style Texas country rock. In addition to Ely, LeMasters cites James McMurtry and John Hiatt as songwriting and stylistic influences.
