I have on several visits been totally entertained by Marcy at The Hollywood in Galveston. The piano "bar" area is intimate and she uses that to her advantage to connect with the hotel guests. Formerly from Houston, I can connect with every song on this CD. Her live performance dialogue introducing each song is as entertaining as the music itself. I have bought several of these CDs and give to friends; even worldwide! Each has enjoyed even though they may not know of "Wayne's Gay Bar," or other locale connections. Now living in Memphis, I play the CD often to remember my fun times in Galveston at The Hollywood and in Houston at the Briar Patch. |
