Texas Tea
Texas Tea "TEXAS TEA PARTY" ©2006 Pirate Records Rock. Tea. Texas. Yeah, all that. Texas Tea blends great roots rhythms into a classic rock format giving you a strong brew of Texas sound. The trio of Bill Sutherland, John Odom, and James Deaton (Wild Bill, Professor, and J.D.) have compiled a dazzling album with grand upbeat songs and a prevailing theme throughout. Album holders are encouraged to 'crack the Bubba Code' in a debut offering contest that nets the winner a free Texas Tea concert. The music is a meld of influences from AC/DC to Styx, from Stevie Ray to ZZ Top. The production is excellent in the absence of a big name producer and the packaging is clever and entertaining. As a live band, Wild Bill is plenty guitar for this Texas trio. Coupled with ardent bass work from Odom, this band lays down as much sound as Gibbons and Hill. With keen writing, excellent delivery, and a passion for the music, Texas Tea will soon make an indelible mark on the Texas music scene. A newcomer band full of veterans is just what the scene needs to shake it up a bit. So, get your disc, crack the Bubba Code, and enjoy Texas Tea!
