They offer “FOR SALE,” a homespun 2003 release that contains nine Texas treats from this Houston-based trio. Randy Frisch, Chris Bearce, and Pete Alford comprise this seasoned group. Frisch pens most of the tunes and handles the lead vocal duties, while Bearce keeps the beat and chimes in on vocals as well. Alford holds down the bottom. Randy Frisch’s Fender guitar speaks the language of Texas blues, laying down a loose but bountiful array of licks with thickness and a wicked tone. The band holds their own as a three piece, something few groups can do well. This disc is a fans friend as it gives you your Noise Upstairs fix between gigs.
