Tucker Bradley
Fast forward from memorizing the entire Joan Baez song book in 1965 through a teen age of performing at family gatherings to leaving home at the advent of the 1970's counterculture. It was then, that making music became something more meaningful than a soulful rendition of Scotch and Soda. Serendipitously, in 1972, Bradley became a singer with Cat's Pajamas, a Houston band of seasoned artists the likes of Rock Romano, Mike Sumler, Joe Dugan and Carson Graham. Bradley's first gig with the band was in Montreal at Norm Silver's Moustache where hundreds of young Canadians came every night to drink too much strong beer and sometimes brawl. Cat's Pajamas was held over for two weeks. Back in Houston, she went on to sing with Mayo Thompson's Rockin' Blue Diamonds, played bass and sang with Doug Legacy's Montrose Marching Band, as well as her fellow songwriters Richard Dobson, Natalie Zoe, Bianca Ellis, and sometimes played her own songs at her favorite home away from home, Houston's famous Old Quarter. In the mid 70's she joined Romano and Sumler again to form the New Texas Bluesicians with Claudia Burson and Wiley Hutchins. Today, after three decades and four children, Bradley, with the help of several of her old pals, brings listeners up to date with LONELY MAN, her first solo release. We hope you'll enjoy hearing LONELY MAN featuring - Doug Legacy (accordion/steel drum), Mike Sumler (electric guitar), Joe Dugan (piano /organ), Rock Romano (bass/ electric guitar), Al Pagliuso (percussion), Keith Belman (traps), Larry White (background vocals), Alaina Richardson (background vocals), and Tucker Bradley (acoustic guitar/vocals). Produced by Tucker Bradley and Rock Romano. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at Rock Romano’s Red Shack, Houston, Texas . Polly, Pretty Polly adapted by Tucker Bradley.
