Getting started a little late in life, I have only been playing and singing music since '02. Since I have started though, it has become an obsession! Most I have performed for, feel I have been doing this all my life. I really guess I have, in my own mind. I now play every chance I get, at Bars, Private Parties, and Jams. The majority of my venues are playing private parties, in the North Texas & Southern Oklahoma area, but I love going down to my ranch in the "Texas Hill Country", and playing music. When I'm down there I'll usually make the Luckenbach jam at least one day, and usually on Sunday, I'll play at Arkey's "Silver Dollar" or the 11th. St. Saloon in Bandera. My bass player, "Wild Will" Acord, and his BIG bass fiddle, accompanies me when he can, and like most musicians I have met, He is a Super guy! My favorite music is what I call, "TEXAS RED DIRT!" Some call it Texas Music, or Americana, or even Red Dirt but, to me it's all the same. It is compiled of songs that usually tell a true, or real life story that most can identify with. I now have 12 original songs, (1st album on the way), and sing over 60 Willie Nelson covers, along with around 175 covers from the old and the new country, leaning towards most of the guys in the Americana scene. I am amazed by the amount of really good singer songwriters I have met over the last 3 or 4 years! Seems everywhere I go, there is someone out there really good! You guys keep up the good work!! My favorite song is called "Reflections," made of 70 song titles, from songs that Willie Nelson has recorded! I am a Fool for: Bein' in the Country, Buildin' a Big'Ole Campfire, Listen'n to a Good Ballad, Eating Red Meat, and Drinking Cheap Beer!
