Our wish list

We're not begging but we're not stupid.  If you want to help, we thank you. It's certainly not expected, so we are very gracious recipients.  Those of you who have businesses, can even donate items and get advertising in exchange.  Sponsorships are also a possibility.

We love what we do, and we don't apologize for trying to make a little money doing it.  (Maybe, one day, who knows.)  But it takes money to keep things afloat around here.  We know some of you want to be supportive, and we wouldn't think of letting you just arbitrarily send us money.  (Unless you have more than you need, just laying around taking up space.)  In an effort to match those of you who want to lend their financial support with those things we could really use, we have supplied this wish list.  If you see something on the list you would like to purchase for MyTexasMusic, please make the purchase and ship the item(s) to MyTexasMusic, 129 W. Houston, Linden, Texas 75563.  Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!  It's important that you know that MyTexasMusic is not in financial trouble, we just get so many people wanting to help...we like to see as much $$ as possible used to promote our artists - not get spent on things like copy paper and ink cartridges (though it's all necessary for the common good!)
Boom box
We use them to review CDs, provide listening stations at festivals and for our A&R process.  We go through them pretty quickly.  We're very hard on them, working them about 10 times harder than the normal consumer.  Needs to have a feature to tell us the time of the tracks and needs to have a headphone jack.  We could use one of them right away. (about $35.00 each) (we currently have 2 new ones [THANK YOU, RW!] and 1 that is about to die.)
Copy paper
We use 92 bright, 20 lb.  We go through about a case per month. (about $24.00 per case)

We use about 100 sheets per month.  We use only Sam's Club Catalog # 844-2055.
(about $20.00 for 100 sheets)
Canopy
We're looking for some canopies like this so we can attend more festivals and promote more artists.

We have six of them, and could use six more.
Headphones
We go through tons of headphones at the listening stations. 
We've even used the $1.00 headphones from the dollar store. 
We don't like to use them for more than one festival.
