First of all, I have this CD. "Another You" is a hit waitin' to happen! I can give a lengthy opinion about each and every song but, the favorite has already wrapped me! If you don't have this CD, you are missing out on not only CLEVER humor, but an addictive surprise! This chick will hook ya. I guarantee you...this CD is worth every penny! |

I've been a fan of Jen Rathbun's since her first concert, on that candle-lit evening in front of her fireplace, and I treasure my "Live From The Living Room" CD. In the months since then her creativity and performance have continued to amaze and delight me. Her songs are insightful and vivid, raising goosebumps, and setting the whole audience to swaying and tapping. She is alive and responsive to her audience, tickling our fancies (her words) and awakening an inner awareness of our humanity. Her first production album, "Beautiful Day", is all the more powerful for transmitting both this personal quality, and a rich instrumental design, complex and diverse, which enhances the tapestry of her songs. Her mastery of lyrics, melodic development, and harmony make this album a treat for both casual and critical listeners. More, more! |
